The Tessin’sche Gutsverwaltung (estate management) headed by Christa Freifrau von Tessin has made it its task to give the Villa Gemmingen, which provides a truly unique atmosphere in Stuttgart, back a purpose that lives up to the building’s history and aspirations.
The variety of representation and meeting rooms of the Villa Gemmingen can be rented for private and business events in order to not only preserve the building but also to give the interested public the opportunity of finding out what life in Stuttgart's high society and nobility was like at the beginning of the last century.
Christa Freifrau von Tessin’s particular aim is not only to preserve a piece of culture but also a way of life. The original concept of the Villa as a representative private house means that the premises are more suited for medium-sized dinner parties (approx. 60-70 people) rather than large events such as weddings.
Within the scope of a sit-down dinner, the dining room provides space for roughly 48 guests, and the adjacent conservatory has room for another 18 or so guests.
For receptions, anniversaries and Christmas parties, as well as for weddings and birthdays, the Marble Hall with its historic atmosphere and location in the park provides a truly unique setting. In addition to the actual hall, the terrace can also be used. The altitude provides a pleasant climate even on hot summer evenings. Only a few steps from the Marble Hall, the lookout point provides a wonderful panoramic view of Stuttgart.
